08 Nov. 2016 – A new achievement has been added to the Lebanese records at the World Kung Fu-Wushu Championship, with Georges Eid and Bachir Yamin grabbing medals for our NT.
First, Eid was able to defeat Italy’s Dominico Stable in the semis before losing against China’s Gao Fang Fo in the final and thus getting a silver medal in the 80 KG. This great result comes right after Georges’ gold medal in the Sanda style at the world championship.
Secondly, Bachir Yamin got a bronze medal in the 75 KG category, by losing in the second stage against Aymad Mohamad from Egypt.
Congratulations to both fighters on the medals, you deserve it!
