Relay Runners:
It’s all about running in this year’s BBBM relay race. Live the glory of the marathon by taking it on as a team. The BMA is encouraging teams to participate in the relay race and conquer the 42.195k challenge. Advanced and novice runners will run together in spirit and in mind to cover the marathon distance of 42.195k.

Relay and Marathon Runners:
Those who are running the first stage of the relay will line up behind marathon runners. Marathon or 42.195k runners have priority over the relay runners along the course. Relay runners are not allowed to obstruct the route of marathon runners at any time.
Point of exchange at Relay Stations:
There are 10 meters before or after the relay arch where runners are allowed to exchange the relay stick/ baton with their teammate. The baton must be exchanged between team members inside this zone ONLY. DO NOT CROSS BACK OVER THE TIMING MAT. This action will erase the electronically recorded running time.
Stations:
There are water stations at each relay exchange point. There will be other water, sponge, food and Gatorade stations along the course. The course map provides the specific station locations. At the end of each leg of the race, the runner collects his or her goodie bag and relay medal.
Missing Teammate:
If a runner reaches the final leg of the race and does not find his/her teammate waiting, he/she can:
- Continue to run the following leg of the race.
- Wait for one’s teammate to arrive.

Awards Ceremonies:
An Award Ceremony for the Marathon overall winners, Marathon overall special needs winners, and Lebanese overall winners will take place at the Finish Area at Martyr’s Square next to the VIP tent. At 11:30 AM.
An Award Ceremony for all Marathon Categories is also scheduled on RACE DAY at 7:00 p.m. at the “Lancaster Plaza Hotel-Raouche”.
