11 Nov. 2016 -The USJ Sports delegation have left Beirut, their destination being Europe this time.
In fact, USJ Sports teams will take part in a major European tournament for universities. After Greece 2014 and Poland 2015, it’s time for Czech Republic to host the event in its Capital, Prague. The competition begins on Saturday morning and will end in the evening of Sunday.
41 universities from 18 different countries will participate in what will be a very challenging and competitive sports event.
It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time USJ make Lebanon proud, as they have already represented the country in Greece 2014 and Poland 2015.
The delegation consists of 135 athletes varying from basketball team to volleyball team as well as futsal, table tennis, handball, baseball, chess and dance.
USJ hope not to come back empty handed as they expect several podium finishes despite the tough competition. They will also gain a lot of experience from this participation.
