20 Nov. 2016 – The Lebanese fencing championship (Sabre weapon) was won by none other than the Lebanese army player Chafic El Khoury who was able to defeat his teammate Bahij Charanek in the final.
Emile Lahoud Sports Complex was hosting the match between both Khoury and Charanek. Third place in the championship meanwhile went to Roger Tanios and Khalil Bou Khalil who are both Mont La Salle players.
The level of sportsmanship in that tournament was very high and we hope it can be translated to other sports too.
