05 Dec. 2016 – The young Lebanese equestrian, Yasmina Bocti from Dbayeh Country Club, won the Longine Master SFAM Grand Prix in Paris, France.
Yasmina, who is only 14, was competing among equestrians from all over the world especially from Europe. She was jumping with her horse Dona on hurdles that are 130m high.
Our rising star was able to lead the qualifications and move to the final round where she didn’t do any mistake and set a time of 41.45 seconds. The Czech, Amor Chiara, came in second place with a time of 41.99 seconds while the french Solian Lafaloa finished third in 43.35 seconds.
Bocti came back to Lebanon yesterday briging the trophy home with her. We should note that Yasmina won the Independence Cup in November and has many Lebanese titles in her name.
