08 Dec. 2016 – On the 10th of December, the Middle East IRONMAN 70.3 Championship will take place in Bahrain with many triathletes from around the world coming to compete.
The course of the race is one of the most breathtaking, as competitors will swim in the H shape waters of the Four Seasons Hotel while the bike course will take be on the F1 track.
A fair share of Lebanese triathletes will be there, and we wish them all the luck in trying to beat their personal records or any other record they have set their sights on. Mazen Arab, George Baaklini, Amer Chebaro, Hasan Itani, Robert Khoury, Ramy Nachar and Ali Tabbal are our national representatives at the event. They will have to swim 1.9 kilometers, bike 90 kilometers and finally run 21.1 kilometers.
Best of luck to Lebanon’s athletes, with hopes that they all finish the race and hit their targets!
