23 Sep. 2015 – It seems that Elias Semaan‘s journey to the 2016 Rio Paralympic games has come to an end, as medical issues have forced him to undergo surgery and thus, cancel all preparations for Rio 2016.
Moreover, this did not affect his Paralympic participation only, as Elias has unfortunately been assigned to category “C” in the international fencing games.
Nevertheless, Elias has a heart of champions, and no obstacle will ever drive him away from his goal. On his official facebook page, Semaan promised everyone that he will come back stronger than ever to raise the Lebanese flag at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic games.
