23 Sep. 2015 – A great team effort, as well as an outstanding individual performance from Ahmad Ibrahim, helped Lebanon to a first win in their first game at the 2015 FIBA Asia championship, against Chinese Taipei with a final score of 92-87.
The Lebanese team entered the game fully focused and determined, managing an 8-0 run at the start. But Taipei are no easy opponent, and always managed to get back in the game, despite Lebanon leading numerous times by more than 8.
Ahmad Ibrahim no doubt stole the show with 23 points, while Jay Youngblood and Ali Haidar were also amazing with 18 points each. Jean Abdelnour meanwhile added 12 and Wael Arakji 14.
