02 Feb. 2017 – Jeffrey Rahme is one of the five skiers who are representing Lebanon at the Winter Universiade in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The world university games started on the 29th of January with a training run for the men and women Super-G skiers.
On the 1st of February, the Men’s Super-G kicked off with our only representative Jeffrey Rahme who is also competing in the Slalom and Giant Slalom.
The youth Olympian who competed at the Lillehammer Winter Youth Olympic Games last year completed his first race, the men’s Super-G, in 1:11.43 crossing 185.90 meters. He finished 53 overall with 143.93 points.
Alex Abou Jouade, Allen Behlok, Natasha Mohbat and Isabelle Fayad will compete in the Slalom and the Giant Slalom with Jeffrey in the upcoming days! Stay tuned for more updates!
