08 Feb. 2017- Ahed Club made it to the Arabs Club Championship after successfully passing the 3 qualification rounds of the tournament. The Lebanese club defeated Fanja today in the away leg 4-0 to score a perfect record of 6 wins in the qualifications round.
The results of Ahed in the three qualification rounds came as following:
1st round:
Leg 1: Al Riffa 0-1 Ahed
Leg 2: Ahed 4-1 Al Riffa
2nd round:
Leg 1: Ahed 1-0 Shabab Al-Khalil
Leg 2: Shabab Al-Khalil 0-2 Ahed
3rd round:
Leg 1: Ahed 2-1 Fanja
Leg 2: Fanja 0-4 Ahed.
After these amazing 6 straight wins, Ahed will now join the top teams of the Arab World to compete in the group stages that will start on the 21st of July.
