17 Feb. 2017 – After finishing 4th in the Cyprus Grand Prix, Ray Bassil once again managed to break into the semi finals of yet another competition. This time, she was competing in the Qatar Grand Prix alongside many of the world’s best trap shooters.
First, she finished with a total of 69 in the first 5 rounds, to cement her place in the semis as the highest 6 shooters qualify.
Secondly, in the semis, she missed out on a medal match by just 3 as she finished 5th with 22, behind New Zealand’s Natalie Rooney who had 25.
Now, Ray’s focus is on the New Delhi World Cup in India on Monday, where she hopes to go back to a top 3 positioning!
