Secondly, in the semi finals, the boys were unlucky to lose 3-0 versus the Philippines. Nahas lost against Marcus Del Rosario 2-0 (6-2 6-1), while Roy Tabet also lost 2-0 (6-2 6-3) against Arthur Craig Pantino. Finally the duo Sadek-Nahas fell to a 2-0 defeat (6-1 6-1) against Pantino-Ringia. Now, the boys get to play for a bronze medal.

On the other hand, the girls, represented by Karla Tohme, Nour Dib and Myriam Massoud were playing for the 5th to 8th place, but lost against Philippines 2-0. Carlyn Bless Guarde indeed beat Myriam Massoud 2-0 (6-1 6-3) while Nour Dib lost against Gennifer Lysandara Pagente 2-0 (6-2 6-4).
