24 Feb. 2017 – The Lebanese cycling youth national team is in Manama, Bahrain, participating in the Asian Championship between February 24th and March 2nd.
40 other nations will be competing alongside the Lebanese cyclists, and our team is represented by the technical director Kayssar Salloum and the following cyclists:
01. Yan Ibrahim Jonathan Bozan, who was born in Lebanon from a Lebanese mother and with the federation securing a passport for him.
02. Garen Aarbirlian, who took part in a training camp in Berlin last summer and finishing first in his category in a massive race there.
03. Hovsep Kanlejian
04. Osama Salah El Din Al Ahdab
Those athletes had excellent results in the past competitions and they have been training with the national team since early January.
On Sunday February 26th, one of Bozan and Aarbirlian will represent Lebanon at the time trial race, while on Monday, the whole team will participate in the overall individual race.
