14 Oct. 2015 – On the second day of competition at the 2015 Hussam Eddine Hariri basketball tournament, Antranik from Lebanon fell to a 62-75 defeat against Najem El Sahili from Tunisia. In that game, the Lebanese club played a great first half, ending the second quarter with a 7 points lead (34-27) despite the fact that the Tunisian club has many players from Tunis’ national team like Makram Bin Ramadan, Omar Mohli, Mahdi Siyah and Radwan Bin Slaiman.
Unfortunately, in the second half, the lack of experience costed Antranik too much as they blew the lead and then lost the game. Makram Bin Ramadan was the game’s best scorer with 19 points while Herbert Hill and Roy Chalhoub were Antranik’s best scorers with 13 points each.
On the other hand, AEK Larnaca (Cyprus) earned a difficult 74-71 victory against Ittihad (Egypt), with Tadios Mcdavin scoring 17 points for the winning team and Jonathan Giling adding 14. From the losing team, Mouhanad El Sabbagh was the best with 15 points while his teammate Haytham Kamal added 13.
