14 Oct. 2015 – The 1st Central Asian Tennis Tournament for under 14, organized by the Lebanese Tennis Federation, was launched today at ATCL under the supervision of the Asian and International Tennis Federations.
Lebanon to host the West and Central Asian Tennis Championship
On this first day of the tournament, Marco AZAR won over Zenko HUSSEIN from Iraq in 6-3, 6-1! Marco was the only man from Lebanon to win his first match. Edward LAHOUD was defeated by Sahrab DOKMICHIAN from Afghanistan in 6-4, 6-2. Moustafa NATOUR was also defeated by Afghanistan player, Mohamad YOUSFI, in 6-2, 6-1.
Our Lebanese girls did an amazing job at the Central Asian championship today: Miriam MASSOUD also won against Sara HASSAN from Iraq in 6-0, 7-6, Nour DIB won over Lafa ROUSTOM from Iraq in an astonishing 6-0 6-0!! Anna Maria HAYEK defeated Anna Maria KANZOUH from Syria in an amazing 6-0, 6-1!!
On the other hand, Kaous ABOU HASSOUN from Syria defeated Ali Sind AL MEHSIN from Jordan in 6-3, 6-1. Bader ANTAR from Kuwait won over Abdallah AL GHIRI from Afghanistan in 6-0, 6-0! And finally Fahed AL DOSRI from Kuwait won over Mohamad AL KITBI from Jordan in 6-0, 6-4.
