26 Aug. 2017 – After Laeticia Aoun’s huge achievement at the World Taekwondo Junior Championhip, Lebanon strikes again with yet another accomplishment and a great prospect for the future: Raphael Koudsi.
The young Lebanese talent has managed to secure the bronze medal at the World Taekwondo Cadet Championship held in Egypt. Koudsi won his first game against Ukraine and defeated the Filipino athlete in the round of 16. The quarter final seemed to be a little tougher on our Lebanese fighter as he clinched the win by just a single point. He defeated Poland 9-8.
Unfortunately, Raphael was unable to win his semi final game and had to settle for bronze.
This however remains a great achievement for Koudsi at such an early age. What a bright future this boy has ahead.
