27 Aug. 2017 – With one bronze medal already secured for Lebanon at the World Taekwondo Cadet Championships through youngster Raphael Koudsi, Lebanon struck again this time with Karim Al Housni.
Competing in the -61kg category, Al Housni stole the spotlight by defeating a few of the most prominent nations in the game. He overcame the Uzbek fighter with a huge score of 25-15, and advanced to the quarter final against Turkey. He secured the bronze by defeating his Turkish opponent 30-24.
Karim is yet to play his semi final game with hopes of a silver medal and maybe even gold.
