01 Nov. 2015 – The Lebanese under 16 basketball national team grabbed its second victory today at the FIBA U16 Asia tournament, with a 81-79 win against Kuwait.
Lebanon started strongly the game, ending the 1st quarter with a 7 points lead, but Kuwait was never far in the game and managed to stay close. Nevertheless, outstanding performances from Karim Zeinoun (24 points, 13 rebounds, 8 assists, 5 steals, 3 blocks) and Salim Alaaeddine (32 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals) were enough to secure a win for our national team.
Today’s win is a great way to bounce back from the loss against Taiwan, let’s hope our boys keep up the good job!
