09 Nov. 2015 – In the 10th week of the Lebanese futsal league, which is also the first week of the 2nd leg round, Al Mayadeen saw its old form come back as they managed to defeat the Army team 2-0, in what can be called a revenge win following the loss in the first leg.
In that game, Hassan Zeitoun scored 2 goals to gift his team an important win that will no doubt be a mental boost for Tuesday’s game against Bank of Beirut.
On the other hand, Bank of Beirut grabbed a large win against Tripoli Fayhaa, 5-1, with coach Dejan resting his main players for Tuesday’s clash against Al Mayadeen. Mustafa Serhan scored 2 goals while Vladan Visic, Nassif Abboud and Yasser Selmain all added 1 goal. Omar El Yassin meanwhile scored Tripoli’s only goal.
In the other games, Choueifat defeated AUCE 4-1, just like in the opening round of the first leg, and finally USJ easily defeated Kalamoun 11-2.
