17 Nov. 2015 – The Lebanese Fencing Federation organized the Lebanese Fencing Championship in Epee for the girls and in the Foil for the boys under 13 in Mont La Salle, Ain Saade.
Rita ABOU JAOUDE (Taadod Club) won the Lebanese title in Epee after defeating Nour FARHAT (Mont La Salle) in the finals. Yasmine FARHAT, Nour’s sister, finished 3rd with Nay SALAME (Mont La Salle).
In the boys’ Foil, Mont La Salle’s fencers completed the podium with four medalists! Joey DAOU won over his teammate Karl BOU KHALIL to grab the title, and both Mario CHEHWAN and Christian BOU KHALIL, Karl’s brother, came in third place.
The Championship was supervised by the International referee Ziad ABOU AARAJ, and both International Referees Michel YOUSSEF and Claudine RIZK supervised the matches with the support of the two Federation referees Ramy BAYDOUN and Imad NAHHAS.
