17 Nov. 2015- Lebanon defeated Macedonia 1-0 in a friendly game today. Lebanon’s goal was scored in the 47th minute of the game by Joan OMARI.
The first half of the game ended with no goals, but our national was better in offense, where we had several missed chances. In the second half, the goal came early for Lebanon taking advantage of Macedonia’s defense huge mistake. Macedonia tried to score the equalizer goal through some dangerous chances with no result despite the huge stoppage time given by the referee (6 minutes at the end of the game).
This is the second consecutive win for our national team after the big win in the World Cup/Asian qualifiers against Laos 7-0.
