16 Dec. 2015 – For the second consecutive year, Al Zahra’ Mina club won the second edition of the Lebanese Volleyball Elias Georges KHARMA’s Cup, that was organized by Qnat club. The event took place in North Heaven Club in Kalamoun.
Al Zahra’ defeated Al Riyadi Kalamoun in the finals in 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-17). On the other hand, Amchit club was able to defeat Qnat to win the third place in 2-1 (25-18, 22-15, 25-21).
The International referee Hanna AL ZALIH supervised the games with the help of the two federal referees: Rabih EL HAJJ YOUSSEF and Emilia AKKARI.
At the end of the competition, Emile JABBOUR, the president of Qnat club, spoke about the qualities of the passed Elias Georges KHARMA on and off the field of play, and his achievements throughout his career, before distributing the awards to the winning teams.
