24 Dec. 2015 – The women’s team of Al Nadwa Kamatiya came back from the 27th Arab Table Tennis Clubs Championship that was held in Charam El Cheikh, Egypt, with a bronze medal!
The Lebanese champions defeated Bimachraka Club Iraq in 3-0 and Sanaa Club Iraq in 3-0. They also won over Women’s Emirates team in 3-0 and over the Algerian club Al Arbia’ in 3-1. Our women’s team lost against Al Zamalek Egypt in 2-3 and against the Egyptian champions Al Ahli club in 3-2 to finally take the bronze medal!
The Lebanese team was formed by our talented women: Marina SAHAKIAN, Yara STOUHI and the Chinese player Li YOYALIN. Abbas SAID NASERDDIN was the head of the team and Wissam CHIRRI was the main coach who supported the team in their ups and downs! We should also note the presence of the General Secretary of the Federation Wael NOUREDDIN at this Championship.
