25 Dec. 2015 – For the third straight game, Bank of Beirut were unable to win and have fell to yet another defeat, against the Lebanese army futsal team this time!
Indeed, following a loss against Al Mayadeen and a draw against USJ, Bank of Beirut could not overcome the army team this time and lost 1-4. Now, the army stands in second place while BoB fell to third.
The 18th and final week of the regular season is now coming up. Al Mayadeen will have to win or draw at home against Choueifat to secure first place. On the other hand, the army team will have to defeat Kalamoun and hope for a Mayadeen loss so that they finish the season at the top of the league.
Another important game in the final week is between AUCE and Tripoli. AUCE has to win in order to avoid direct relegation, but Tripoli will no doubt give them a hard time!
