05 Aug. 2015 – In the second week of the Beach Soccer BOB League, Saidoun and Al Regie won two very important matches to prove their leadership in their respective groups.
Saidoun won over the General Security in 9 – 1! This with the absence of three of his players; Rabih ATAYA, Mohamad ABOU ATIK and Ahmad HIJAZI, due to their engagement with their football teams. But the head coach Sami HAYDAR was able to fill the gap and counted on Ali NASERDDIN alone in the offense, before sending the duo Hussein HAYDAR and Mazen JAMMAL for the offense.
Mazen scored three goals on his own as well as Ahmad AL KHATIB before Ali AL SAADI, Ali NASEREDDIN and Moahamd AL FAOUR score one goal each to raise the score to 9 goals! Hussein SALEH scored the only goal for the General Security.
In the second game, the Regie faced the Lebanese Army. Both teams were sharing the first place in their group but after this game, the Regie took the lead of the group by winning 6-1 over the Lebanese Army. The Regie took their revenge after their defeat last year.
The Regie offered a high level game offensively and defensively, especially the defensive duo Mohamad HALLAOUI and Ahmad JARADI who were able to block every attack by the Lebanese Army and the offensive duo of FATTAL and MERHI who were able to breakthrough the weak defense of the Lebanese Army.
Mohamad MERHI was able to score two goals, while his teammates Haytham FATTAL, Ahmad JARADI, Mostapha AL ZEIN and Mohamad SALMAN were able to score one goal each.
Finally, both the Regie and Saidoun are now leading their group by three points of difference ahead of the others. Today, Freedom Saida will face Beirut and Chabeb Al Khyem will face the Fire Regiment.
