05 Aug. 2015 – Our Lebanese Armenian athletes shined in the second day of the Pan Armenian 6th Summer Games grabbing two gold medals in Cycling!
Our Lebanese Armenian cyclists, Kevork ALTOUNIAN (Bourj Hammoud)
in the men’s and Carol BOYADJIAN (Beirut) in the women’s, both won the gold medal in this event!
In Table Tennis, Beiurt Women won over Tibiliz in three sets! The team includes Noel KESHISHIAN, Lara KECHEBASHIAN and Tevin MOUMJOGHLIAN. The Bourj Hammoud Men, with Misak BOYADJIAN, Berge KOUKEZIAN and Paul Bedros, lost against Yerevan in 3 – 0. While Antelias team won over Montreal in three sets with Hagop VOSCGERITCHIAN, Serge SEFERIAN and Harout TASHDJIAN.
In the Men’s Basketball, Bourj Hammoud team won over Cairo 92 to 75. While both Antelias and Beirut teams lost against Arak in 61-64 and Hollywood 62-79 respectively.
In Futsal, Bourj Hammoud won over Arhnem in 9-2, Anjar won over Novochergasg 2-1 and finally Antelias won over Sydney in 5-1!
