12 Jan. 2016 – The Lebanese Kung Fu Federation honored their champions including the third in the world in Sanda, the champion Georges EID from Bel Horizon club.
Georges grabbed a bronze medal at the World Championship in Sanda that was held in Indonesia in 2015. Our champion and the Lebanese kung fu fighters in general, are offering a high level of competition and are proving year after year that they have a great potential not only on the national level but also to challenge the greatest on an international level.

In Lebanon, we are known to be great fighters in all kind of martial arts. Kung Fu is one of them and the federation is growing as well as the sport in our country. The general secretary of the federation opened the ceremony by congratulating the champions who achieved great results especially abroad. The president of the federation Georges NSEIR talked about the development of Kung Fu in Lebanon and noted the importance of Georges EID’s achievement.

A short video of EID’s fights was showed during the ceremony. Georges EID received a trophy for his achievement, and the rest of fighters received medals.
A dinner finally followed the ceremony and brought together all the fighters including the President of the Lebanese Olympic Committee Jean HAMAM, member of the LOC Salim HAJJ-NICOLAS, the president of Louaize school Pere Charbel HADDAD, and the treasurer of Louaize Pere Dominique AALAM, the president of Mont La Salle Jihad SALAME and finally Jean ABI RAMIYA representing “Abi Ramiya brothers”, the official sponsor of the federation’s events.
