24 Feb. 2016 – Jennifer KHAYAT and Lea ASSAF came back from Doha, Qatar, with two bronze medals! Our girls took part in the Aspire Table Tennis Championship for Under 15.
Jennifer and Lea qualified for the quarter-final after defeating Morocco in 3-2 and Qatar in 3-1. The Iranian team was able to defeat Tunis to win the gold medal, leaving the Tunisian team in second place with a silver medal!
On the other hand, the Lebanese U18 championship just started in Mont La Salle with the participation of 29 Lebanese clubs, that were divided into 8 groups. The winner of each group will the move to the second round.
In the first group, Baraem Nabatiye were able to move to the second round. Homentmen Bourj Hammoud also qualified in the group 2. Al Ahli Sayda was able to move to the next round after winning the group 3 and finally Ghadir Jabchit won the 4th group.
