27 Sep. 2016- The Lebanese Beach Volleyball team is qualified to the round of 24 after winning 2 out of 3 games in the preliminary.
Joe Azzi & John Abi Chedid lost their first game 0-2 (13-21) and (17-21) against Indonesia but they bounce back to secure 2 consecutive wins against Maldives 2-0 , (21-9) and (21-16) and against Mongolia 2-0 (21-15 and 21-16) and book a spot in the round of 24.
The leaders of every group (8 teams) are directly qualified to the round of 16, as the other 16 teams will have to face each others to book a spot in the round of 16. Our team will play their next game tomorrow hoping that they can advance more in this championship.
