24 Nov.2016– After a dip in form in recent games, especially after being knocked out of the semi-final of the AFC cup, Ahed decided to let go of their coach Robert Jaspert.
The team hasn’t been performing well the last few weeks and coach Jaspert was put on notice that if the team didn’t get back on track, his job would be on the line.
The last straw that broke the camel’s back was their loss to Chabeb AL Sahel 1-0. This led to the departure of Jaspert as Bassam Marmar will take over as caretaker coach.
